Bad zippers
I bought two feather fleeces. Both of the zippers are bad. You can get them zipped but when you tru to unzip the zipper won’t release. Since this happens on both of the fleeces I can only conclude that L.L. Bean is now using really cheap zippers. This is not the quality I expect from L.L. Bean.

Nice jacket for 65 degrees F.
I was looking for something a bit heavier. I live in Florida, and it gets cool, but not freezing. I need a nice looking jacket that was warm from the low 60s to the 40s F. This jacket was not adequate for those needs. It will be good up to 60 Degrees F, but I can't imagine it will work that well below that temperature.

Pleaseantly surprised
Given some of the negative reviews I was afraid I might not like it but ordered it anyway because I really need a zip front, light weight fleece. Turns out I love it. The fit is perfect (I used the size chart to determine I would need a medium)...and, surprisingly, quite flattering. On me it is slenderizing, especially from the back. It is longer in the back - some reviewers disliked that, but for my body type it is flattering - makes my butt look smaller, which is great. The collar also looks nice on me. I originally thought I'd use this just around the house but it looks nice enough on me that I'll probably wear it when I meet friends for coffee, etc. It's also a nice weight to wear over a base layer when hiking. I am surprisingly pleased with this purchase!

Different style than expected.
Not as nice as the old featherweight jackets Bean made for years. The back is longer than the front and the collar is too big. It's ok but I like the old ones much better.

Not what I hoped for
The jacket was a pretty color, but the quality did not match the price. It felt cheap. The zipper plastic. I felt the back was too long and not complimentary.
