Smells!
I would love to say how happy I am with this shirt but it arrived yesterday, it immediately smelled up my house. I washed it - FIVE times!! Different detergents, vinegar, hung outside. Still, the heavy smell of mold/mildew makes me start coughing every time I get near it. Same issue with my husbands flannel that arrived yesterday, but not as strong.

Just what I've been looking for
I purchased this in Petite XL in the washed orchid color. I like everything about it. I had been looking for a substantial flannel shirt, and this shirt turned out to be the better choice. The fabric is a hefty all-cotton weave and not drapey. The sleeves were a little too long on me at first. I intentionally washed the shirt in hot water and dried it separately on the towels/cotton setting. No ironing is needed. The sleeves shrank .75", resulting in a length of 22.25". The back length of the garment shrank .5", resulting in a length of 25.25". It's now perfect for me; my height is 5' 2.5".
The shirt has bust darts and flat-felled seams.
I'm pear-shaped and I've found that Bean's "semi-fitted" fit (in the description for this shirt) gives me a fit that I would consider to be relaxed. Bean's "relaxed it" has large armholes and neckholes; I would suggest that fit for people with an apple shape. I hope this helps someone.

Lovely Shirt
