Nice Coverage
I swim several times a week year round and as someone in their late 60’s with a scar from hip replacement surgery, I need bottoms with more coverage than regular bottoms. I have two pairs of these. I also appreciate that they are mid rise and not high rise. Bean is overdoing the high rise options. The other nice thing is they don’t carry as much water or take as long to dry as other modest bottoms that have a skirt or shorts with a liner.
I ordered a 12 instead of the 10/M that I wear in other Bean products.

Female Swim Shorts
I ordered 2 of the swim shorts. They are the only swim short that I buy because they are well made, lined, comfortable, not too short, and fit well.
When the chlorine in the pool finally destroys them, I buy the same product again. I like to wear them over my one piece bathing suit.

Llbean, I hope you make more of these swim shorts!
Good quality. Thick material. I like that they don’t balloon or drag when swimming laps. Color has stayed true for several months. Sometimes they ride up a bit. Wish they were just a tad longer. Definitely size up one size. Happy to get on sale.

not so good after first swim
I initially loved these and gave them a glowing review. But after the first swim, I realized they do not have an inner liner (panty). this makes them uncomfortable when wet. L/L/ Bean should know better. Go back to the drawing board on this one!
