The bed is also easy to wash - the filling is self contained and can be removed via zipper. Just throw the outer layer into the washing machine. Machine washable is worth the price.

My two cats love this, especially while it is placed in the sunshine. it is true what others have mentioned, that there’s not enough stuffing in the middle section and it mats down too easily even with my two cats that only weigh 8 pounds and 12 pounds. The cover is removable for washing, which is good. And the stuffing is removable and I guess I could add more, but at that price I don’t think I should have to. We’ll figure out something eventually, in the meantime, they are loving it.
