Not for high arched wide feet
Love all of my LLBean purchases, some for decades! Two stars because could not get my 61/2 shoe size foot into the burgundy 7 Rugged Wellie Shoe Slip-on. Read tons of reviews since I do better in a wider size and this Medium was "often" reviewed as wide fitting. (Boot not made in Wide) However, the gore expandable neck was so tight that my high arched foot could not get into it. I had such high hopes...so if you have high arches and wide feet, forget this boot.

Perfect for fishing
Purchased before heading out on a fishing boat charter and so happy I did! Even comfortable enough to head out on a hike. My new favorite shoes out and about on a wet day.

Not so rugged and not for wet conditions
I have owned these shoes for less than a year and even in damp grass, my socks get wet. They seem to have issues in the toe area where even a little dampness gets right into the shoe. The description is completely wrong - wear these shoes in any wet conditions no matter how mild and your feet will get wet.
