My uniform. I have these in nearly every color.
Great pants. So wish there was a second pocket on the other leg. What about the 11% of people who are left handed? And who doesn’t love another pocket when hiking?
I prefer the old fabric. I’m not sure why Beans switched to a fabric that makes more noise with movement. It sometimes bothers me or those around me in quiet spaces like libraries.
The extra rustling also makes it harder to get close to wildlife for photos. Maybe that was someone’s deliberate plan.

Size seems off
I’ve had a number of pairs of these pants and happy they come in petite sizes! The sizing seems a little off, I have a pair of size 12 pants that fit great, but these are tight and seem lower waisted. I would love these to be a bit more high waisted!

Great fit, deep pockets, but the drawstrings...
Pros: Bought these recently and love the fit. They wash well, are comfortable, and the pockets are deep enough for my phone and other things. They also have buttons in the waistband so the pants can be cinched a little tighter if necessary. Great feature.
Cons: They don't come in plus petite. The drawstrings around the ankles are... laughable at best. Great idea, poor execution in that you have to keep tucking them back into the tiny pocket designed to hold it out of the way and prevent tripping. I have to use the drawstring in order to make them short enough to wear so I don't fall on the pantlegs. Then there's the zipper... Who on earth decided to put the button and zipper placket so it opens to the left rather than right the way every other pair of pants (womens OR mens) does? It's awkward.
