It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. Best of all, Tropicwear still provides UPF 50+ sun protection, or about 10 times more than a white cotton tee.

Perfect.
As I wore it on a 1 month cruise, it washed and dried perfectly, never needing any ironing. The material was very comfortable, but the size was maybe a bit larger than I am used to for an XL, especially the sleeve length. But I just rolled them up and that worked just fine. I am very pleased with the performance.

Great fit and a classy look
I enjoy wearing this shirt year 'round with sleeves long or rolled up. It doesn't look like typical SPF clothing or just another camp shirt so it's appropriate for casual dress AND outdoor activity. I especially appreciate the petite sizing since I'm 5' 2".

Just a few issues
Great spring weight. Attractive plaid, but I’m a sucker for the blues. I have two issues. First, I find it difficult to roll up the sleeves as intended on the fly. I can roll and “tab” them if I’m not wearing the shirt, but not one-handed if I’m on the go. The second is the pocket flap. If you wear reading glasses or, like me, have to take off your distance glasses to read, the pocket flaps interfere with quickly putting glasses in a safe place on my person.

Wonderful warm weather shirt! Love the somewhat linen-like texture, very breathable, and nice large pockets are very convenient. I wore this shirt almost daily over a light weight tee on a three week trip to Australia. After hand washing, it dried overnight (admittedly the humidity was low). Highly recommend.
