Disappointment
I don't know how you size items. I bought an xl so I could wear a heavy sweater under it. This jacket was smaller than theclargecI currently have. I have found weird sizing on a number of other items too.

Perfect weight!
This is a great coat. It’s warm but not too heavy. The sleeves are lined which adds to its warmth. This coat fits right in between light and heavy. Room for a sweater underneath as well.

Love the jacket, would just a little pocket at the top with a zipper for a ski pass or something small. It could also use drawstrings on the hood.

A very good jacket
I bought this three weeks ago and I’ve been wearing it almost daily. It’s been very cold in Canada. The last few weeks and this jacket has kept me warm. I like the longer back and the fleece inside which adds to the warmth. The only thing missing is an inner pocket would be perfect.

Good purchase
Plenty warm and fits as advertised. The fleece lining portion will sometimes catch on fabrics when you put the jacket on but that’s not too much of a problem. Like the green colour; hood is good. Would give anything to have an inside pocket.

Not great!
I bought this jacket online and because it was on sale. The problem is that the sleeve lining extends beyond the end of the jacket sleeve EVERY time I put it on! It is possible to tuck it back and the jacket is fine otherwise but if I had tried it on in the store , I would not have purchased it. A disappointing experience in a long history of satisfaction with LL Bean’s products.

Love my new jacket!
I needed a new down jacket, and I'm glad I bought this one. I got the bright green color, which looks great. The jacket is really warm, especially because of the extra flannel over the shoulders. I bought a large, which fits well, but is not oversize.
