A good quality boot
I bought a pair about 5 months ago and they are still going strong. A well designed and crafted boot. It is definitely a cheaper alternative than Red Wing boots. It didn't take too long breaking them in. Great sole grip. One thing I would change, however, would be the laces. They are too long and started breaking after a few months. Invest in a good pair of proper shoelaces and you should be fine.

great quality that you have to break in
boots are great once broken. it took me a while because i didnt wear regularly. Im sure they will last several more years. the laces could be higher quality. i paid 200 for mines and would recommend the purchase. i would not want to break them in again but now i dont want to work without them.

Worst boots I’ve ever had
Heel cups and inside soles caused bruises and blisters on both feet to bleed after 1 day of use. Do not buy these.

Fantastic quality, long lasting, and more!
I have prosthetic feet, so I was concerned about the sizing. Low and behold: these are sized perfectly, look stylish, and are much easier to put on when compared to the sneakers I usually put on my "feet." They're comfortable, easy to move around in, and look extremely durable, so I am excited to see how long they last.

Great Boot - Once it breaks in!
This boot is true to size, initially I ordered a 10 Wide even though I am normally a 9.5 Wide and it was too big. Sent it back and ordered a 9.5 Wide and received it under a week even though it was the Christmas holiday season!
The outer leather is soft to the touch, but the top part of the boot (collar?) on both feet were digging into my leg for at least four to five days and despite wearing thick socks bruised it.
The tongue did not stay in its position when pulled tight but eventually after wear, I could wear them without pain.
The pull loop could be a bit bigger as the way they are designed, they don't serve their function and assist when pulling the boots on.
There has been some fraying of the laces already, which are quite long. I am hoping to get at least one season's use out of them before
With that said, the boots are now comfortable and a good replacement for my Blundstone Chelseas of four years.

Great Design, Unfortunate Materials
The title says it all... These boots are truly a beautiful design and probably a great fit once broken in. Unfortunately, the soles of these boots are a soft, almost foam like material. Certainly not the rubber sole you would expect. Very nice, durable leather that would need a resole quickly. Returned.

Should be better
Leaving this review after 1.5yrs of ownership.
Great boot, nice leather, wears well, durable upper. Wore it fairly regularly in all seasons. A little maintenance to keep everything good is more than enough. The sole however, is completely flattened and smooth. They are unwearable in any wet or cold weather now for fear of slipping. I will look to get them redone, but may just chuck them. Very disappointed in this vibram sole and by extension llbean. I come for quality. These would last years with a decent sole.
