EXCELLENT GUN CASE
This is a high-quality gun case. Roomy enough for a rifle with a large scope, and very protective padding. Classic looks that get noticed at the rifle range. I received high compliments for the quality and style. Being a traditionalist myself, I was drawn to it's classic appearance, and also it's durability.

Hard to Beat This Case at Any Price Point
I own one of the "1st Gen" Bean waxed cotton shotgun case which I love, thus I knew what I was going to buy when the need for a scoped rifle case arose. This newest version of the Bean waxed cotton gun case is even better looking and is still built tough as nails with some seriously thick waxed cotton. I really like the improved dark brown leather accents and the addition of an actual buckle on the accessory pouch . But as others have eluded, the 46" case can be a tight fit for some rifles.
My Winchester Model 670 which measures 42.5 inches from tip of the barrel to the end of the buttstock just does fit in the 46" case! Which is good as the 51 inch case would have been way to long for my application. I would say if your rifle is between 42 and 43 inches inches in total length, it will be close! BTW, for those with a Marlin 30/30, the 46 inch case is perfect!!!
