We've made the chino more comfortable than ever, in soft-washed cotton chambray with stretch for ease. In a versatile ankle style with a drawstring elastic waist that's easy to pull on and looks great too.
It's not easy to make a classic even better, but we did. First, we added a touch of stretch to traditional cotton and washed it for exceptional softness and ease. Then, we added a full elastic waistband for comfort worthy of lounging and style ready for any occasion.

Does everyone wear mid-rise pants now?
I looked at every one of the pants and crops here, and they are all styled as mid-rise. Why do you send me an ads for something I can’t wear. I’ve only been shopping at LL Bean for 30 years.

Great fabric, great color, but
I love these pants and wish they came in more colors however, at 4'9" tall, even the petite ankle pants had to be shortened, as usual. These are great fabric for summer months so why not offer a cropped version?

Terrible flaw
I bought both the regular size 16 ankle length chambray pants and the 16 petite cropped pants. Both have weird seams going down the outer part of the pant legs making them a little off kilter. But the petite cropped are horrible in that the part by the pockets balloon out in a very unflattering way. I can't wear them! I want to return them but don't have any of the paperwork.
