Great UV shirt for Boating!
I like this long sleeve uv shirt. It feels cool, light weight and even has thumb holes. I was out at the beach over four hours. No sun burn! I bought a size larger so fabric won’t stick to my skin on hot summer days. It works out great!

Average Shirt
As others have stated, the sleeves are narrow and there is not enough stretch to push them up at all. The fabric isn't very breathable - I got hot pretty quickly. On the other hand, I didn't get sunburned.

This shirt couldn’t be better
This shirt is so soft and comfortable. It fits beautifully and is not clingy. The color (navy) and fit are very flattering. It’s great for outdoor activities but nice enough to wear running errands. I immediately ordered another one.

Love the fabric, hate the thumb holes
I live in these shirts! I wear them under my scrubs for work and for everyday casual wear and outdoor activities. They wash up wonderfully and do not get stiff if hung to dry, unlike cotton shirts. I get the medium petite to wear under my scrubs when I want a closer fit and shorter sleeves - even though I am 5'6" and have long arms. The length is just right when I don't want fabric over my hands. I do not care for thumb holes in shirts, it seems LL Bean thinks every woman wants this, so - you either have to fold back the sleeve and it looks sloppy, or have them all bunchy on your arms. I order size large for a more relaxed fit when I want something less body conforming. Waiting on more colors!

Extra sun protection with comfort
I'm not real crazy about sunscreen. I get the need for sun protection, but when possible I look for alternatives. This is a good one. I just wore it on a warm summer day (not super hot, but lower 80s) to the zoo with my son. I also have a toddler Bean sunshirt for him. I use it, along with a hat, for shorter outings such as the park. His kept his arms sunburn-free last summer, and this year I realized I needed one too. It's quite soft and lightweight. Make sure and size up, though. My normal size was far too small, and even one size up is a bit snug.

Love the material
This is my 3rd sunsmart tee from Bean. I ordered the same size and the body fits well but the sleeves are very, very tight. I have tiny, thin forearms and I am not able to push these sleeves more than 6” above my wrists (as I need to when washing my hands). I don’t know if it’s an anomaly or a change in the sizing but anyone with normal sized arms will find thh sleeves too tight.

Good sun protection
Purchased to wear on upcoming Mediterranean cruise in May. Purchased in PL, and the length and fit through torso is great. However, the sleeves through the forearms are tight. I am hoping they stretch a bit. Please add additional colors.
