Extra sun protection with comfort
I'm not real crazy about sunscreen. I get the need for sun protection, but when possible I look for alternatives. This is a good one. I just wore it on a warm summer day (not super hot, but lower 80s) to the zoo with my son. I also have a toddler Bean sunshirt for him. I use it, along with a hat, for shorter outings such as the park. His kept his arms sunburn-free last summer, and this year I realized I needed one too. It's quite soft and lightweight. Make sure and size up, though. My normal size was far too small, and even one size up is a bit snug.

Love the material
This is my 3rd sunsmart tee from Bean. I ordered the same size and the body fits well but the sleeves are very, very tight. I have tiny, thin forearms and I am not able to push these sleeves more than 6” above my wrists (as I need to when washing my hands). I don’t know if it’s an anomaly or a change in the sizing but anyone with normal sized arms will find thh sleeves too tight.

This shirt has everything I need—sun protection, comfort and it dries fast. It’s perfect for outdoor activities and travel. Only one criticism: Not enough colors!

Good sun protection
Purchased to wear on upcoming Mediterranean cruise in May. Purchased in PL, and the length and fit through torso is great. However, the sleeves through the forearms are tight. I am hoping they stretch a bit. Please add additional colors.

Favorite shirt
Love these shirts. I have several that I have been wearing since 2020. They are so comfortable and wash well. I have both long sleeve and short sleeve. My only complaint is that I would like to see MORE colors available in both long and short sleeve. My everyday go to shirt since 2020

Nice fabric. Large neck opening.
I purchased this in regular XL in Nautical Navy. I would have purchased a petite XL, but it was not available in my preferred color. The regular XL hits me at low hip---lower than I like.. I'm not sure that I'm going to keep this.
I like the heathered fabric, which coordinates nicely underneath a plaid flannel shirt that I bought at the same time.
I do find it odd that the neck opening is so large. It reveals a lot of my collar bone area. It's not the best cut for a garment that is being promoted as sun exposure protective. If you're purchasing it for that function, I can't recommend it.
