Bring back the old style of tropic weight shorts
My husband loved the old style of tropic weight shorts. In fact he still wears several aging pairs of them after literal decades. But these are not those. These cargo style shorts were tight in the thighs and the fabric is completely different than the old style. The fabric we could live with but but not the fit. We would welcome the return of the old style he loved. Its fabric was soft and became even softer over time. The fit was roomy and the style was classic. No cargo pockets. We love many LLBean products, just not these shorts.

Seriously flawed pocket design
I really wanted to like these shorts, particularly the security pocket where I could place my cell phone. The shorts fit fine, but they have a serious major flaw: the front pockets, including the security one, are very very shallow and essentially useless. Sitting in a chair, everything in my pockets including cell phone, pocket knife, pen, and change fall out. What were the manufacturers thinking?
