Our heaviest-weight flannel, now available in Slightly Fitted. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Quality and great fit
Great quality and nice fit for my 22 yr old nephew who is tall and slim. It’s a bit on the long side which isn’t a problem since he is tall. He loves to wear this as a second layer. Also, the colors are beautiful, vibrant but not too intense.

My new flannel shirt
Comfortable, fits well. Perfect for 53 degree, overcast, and windy Francisco dank “summer weather” of June, July, and August. There are a few warm and sunny days in there where I won’t need the warmth of this shirt.

Ayuh, LL 🫛🫘 Bean has triumphed again! This chamois shirt 👕 looks like a dress shirt due to the pattern 🙀. So even a Maine logger 🪓🪵 will look wicked sharp 🪒, Yassuh!!

Shirt with the length of a dress
This shirt is perfect except for one very import te detail - the length. I ended up returning it due to the length of the shirt going well past my butt. I’m 5’10” and bought a medium. None of my other LL Bean button down shirts run this long. Not sure why they made the cut this way. I hope to see improvements to the sizing of this shirt. If so, I would repurchase.
