This hard-wearing, but soft, fleece-lined heavyweight hooded sweatshirt will keep the cold out and the warmth in year after year.
The Katahdin Iron Works operated in the north woods for much of the 19th century, employing thousands of hardworking Mainers. Inspired by their grit and strength, we designed our Katahdin Iron Works line of rugged work clothes to stand up to all kinds of rough use.
- 100% polyester fleece lining; sleeves are lined with 100% polyester taffeta.
- 91% cotton, 9% polyester.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Triple-needle stitching adds durability.
- Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy on/off.
- Body is lined with soft berber fleece for extra warmth and comfort.
- Zip front.
- Underarm gussets for added mobility.
- Ribbed trim at cuffs and hem.
- Locker loop.
- Specially-designed hood fits well even over a baseball cap.
- Front pockets, one with interior security pocket.

Great utility sweatshirt.
Very nice hooded sweatshirt. Warm without too much bulk.
The fit is just right. Fits under an outer layer for the coldest days. An unexpected feature is the metal zipper, which will, no doubt, last a long while unlike the nylon versions that don’t seem to hold up.

Love these Katahdin fleece - lined sweatshirts.
I have bought several of these Katahdin over the last several years in multiple colors. But, please go back to the white/ beige fleece color on the inside. Also, please leave off that LL Bean small symbol that you have been putting on your clothing, it looks cheap and takes away from the good look of the sweatshirt.

I bought and used this hoodie for several years. Loved the way it fit my extra long arms and kept me warm when needed. An excellent layering garment to use under a coat in very cold weather.The deep pockets and silk-like lined sleeves make for easy on/off and functional use as well. Excellent quality in all respects. I hope this garment is available in a couple ;of years when this one wears out. Definitely buy again.

Nice Jacket but unlike the one I bought several years ago . Mesh inner pockets were in both pockets now they are only in one pocket the fleece color is very dark but ok its a bit of a tight fitting jacket . Price was way more than what it is worth

This was a second purchase of exact same item. Firstt hoodie worn out over 4-5years. Frayed cuffs and hood were the only sites of wear. The hood was more fitted, being snug with over a stocking hat. Warm enough to wear as go -to outside work jacket, not a puffy coat. Washed well but heavy when wet, needing balance weight in washer. Extra dryer time needed but didn’t shrink up.
