It fits me perfectly, but ...
I bought this quilted jacket from the L.L. Bean website in Canada. The original Canadian price was CA$153, and it was reduced to CA$123. Imagine my surprise when I received it and saw it priced at $99. That's the original US price, US $99. That's equivalent to CA $136.39, so CA $16.61 less than the US price. I would have thought L.L. Bean wasn't trying to take advantage of Canadians, but apparently they are. I hadn't thought it wise to boycott them, as Canadians are doing with many American products these days, but it seems L.L. Bean wants to encourage us to do so.

No Bulk
Whether titled "sweatshirts", "overshirts" or "shackets", so many of this current style run large and bulky. Not this sweatshirt from Bean. Roomy without being blousy. Snap front makes it easy to regulate ventilation. After washing, put it in the dryer for a few minutes (not until totally dry) to remove any wrinkles then hang it up. Easy care.

More of a gripe than a real complaint
I bought the “Men’s Quilted Sweatshirt, Snap Overshirt” around 2022. It’s a great sweater—comfortable, roomy, and it looks good with just about everything. It’s perfect for running errands or lounging around the house. The buttons are secure and don’t easily unsnap.
That said, the one issue I’ve had with the sweater is the left chest pocket. As I mentioned, the snap buttons work really well, but after repeated use, the fabric around the button starts to weaken. Eventually, the cotton tears, and the button falls off. This happened to me after about two weeks of wear.
I could’ve returned the sweater, but time got away from me. Plus, I didn’t want to waste an otherwise perfectly good jacket over a small hole in the pocket. I ended up keeping it, had the pocket sewn, and still wear it regularly.
Aside from that one issue, the jacket has held up and aged beautifully. I’d definitely recommend it again, though I’d suggest either reinforcing or replacing the buttons—or just avoiding heavy use of the front chest pockets.

Tunic length
Have purchased male clothing for me before. I am a 5'7" female weighing 162 lbs. This was more tunic length than I wanted. I liked the snaps.

Good snap shirt
Love the durable snaps. Love the light blue color. Love the pockets. Sleeves folded up easily. Medium weight and a nice over-shirt. I bought the small because I'm small; it was on sale and there is nothing nice like this for women.

Favorite purchase from last year!
This 'overshirt' is one of my top two purchases from LL Bean last year. You can wear it as a jacket as well. Very durable and keeps its shape/size after every was so far! Fits great and the collar still looks like a collar. Its soft yet keeps its shape.
