Plastic deck cracked IN STORAGE
(this is for an older model) These were used 2 times, and put away for the winter some 8-10 years back. They performed fine in the wild, but over the winter in storage one of the shoe's deck cracked through right where there's a rivet. Fast forward to now, and the other shoe has a crack in the same place. Consider other options in this price range.

More problems
I wrote an earlier review ( Problems x 2). No way to edit it, so I just wanted to add that when we were putting them away for the year, we discovered yet another plastic loop that attaches the frame to the bottom has broken. They weren't misused at all. Definitely would not recommend these

Great Winter Fun!
My husband and I bought two pairs of Winter Walker snowshoes: mine the women’s in the smallest size and my husband’s in the men’s 25”. We love them! I am a walker; my husband runs and jogs and walks. We both enjoy strengthening activities and a reasonable challenge. We are in our healthy early 70s. On snowy days we can make the most of our gently hilly property or head out to local parks or trails. Great fun, great exercise. The snowshoes are comfortable and easy on and off, and very well made. Our snow has finally all melted, and we wish it would snow again!

Good maiden voyage
Used once this week for a long, steep climb. Snowshoes worked very well with no problelms. Most difficult part for me, as a newbie, is just learning how to most conveniently put them on. However, I was able to do this in windy drifting snow at well below freezing temperatures.

Best snowshoes I've ever used!
I actually bought these on sale a year or two ago, and used them for the first time yesterday,and hen again today. I love the tightening and loosening mechanisms, the good fit, the stability. I can't wait to go out again tomorrow.
