Really Good Coat
The Fleece-Lined Primaloft Coat is a really good coat. It’s just about right in its ability to hold warmth in and repel water. Not thrilled with its fit. In my opinion it’s styled for slim women. I’m not overweight but I do have “curves” and it’s snug on my “curves.”

Disappointing
I’m very disappointed with this coat. As a longtime fan of L.L. Bean, I expected better quality. I purchased it to use as a casual winter coat, but it failed to keep me warm even in 46-degree weather. On top of that, the price listed online was $220, yet the tag inside the coat shows $199. This inconsistency and lack of warmth make it fall short of the standards I’ve come to expect from L.L. Bean.

I haven't purchased this coat and never will. What ever happened to natural fabrics, fabrics that breathe and actually keep you warm in Winter?

Stitches split
I have had this jacket for exactly one year and much of the stitching on the outside of the jacket is split and crinkled/fuzzy. It looks like it needs to be lint rolled but the thread is still attached so there isn’t anything to do to fix it. Not quite the quality I’m used to for L L Bean.

Wow!
Stayed comfortably warm during an unplanned hour and a half sitting outside on a ferry from New York to New England Thanksgiving weekend. Even the hood was very warm.

Fit is not great
The fit of this coat was not great the arms were too tight to be able to layer beyond a thin long sleeve. The coat also wasn’t very warm. For plus size fit the arms need to be more spacious. For a daily wear winter coat it needs to be able to accommodate layering with a sweater or sweatshirt
