Got to love this jacket!
Wanted a jacket feeling light but yet keeps me warm and this definitely is the one! Love the side zipped pockets to put phone in.

Great Jacket
Love this brown jacket. Had some trouble with sizing but finally got it right with a petite medium. I am normally a reg small, but this jacket ran tight and sleeves were too long in the reg. Did I say that I love, love, love the color? So glad that some interesting browns are making a fashion comeback.

Couldn't find a size that fit me.
I am 5'1", 137 pounds. I bought a small and medium regular and a medium petite in this jacket. The small regular was too tight and short, I liked the body and sleeve length of the medium regular but the bust area was too tight. And the petitie medium bust was also too tight and really short. It is a shorter jacket. Unfortunately I ended up sending all of them back. Also, I didn't realize it didn't have a hood on it. Which was not a deal breaker. I did really like the lining. It was nice and soft. The sizes were kind of crazy. I NEVER take a size large.

Sizing Off
Bought my regular size, PL - too small. Bought PXL - too big. Bought a large - too small in the body. Sizing is off on this jacket - if you're full busted pick another jacket.

Excellent Warmth Without the Weight
I bought this jacket at the end-of-season sale at 50% discount. For the price I paid, this is an excellent value. I have used it mostly for hour-long dog walks in 20-30 degree temperatures. I think it would be too warm above 40 degrees (if walking briskly) but would be excellent for attending outdoor events in the winter. It is most definitely windproof and I appreciate how light it is for the warmth. My only "wish" for this jacket was that the pockets were linked in fleece for a little extra warmth.

Perfect jacket for cold weather
This jacket is perfect for the cold winter we had. I bought the lighter weight version a couple of years ago and love it, but when the temperature is below freezing, the fleece-lined permaloft jacket is what I needed. In fact I like it so much, I returned to LL Bean and ordered the coat. The fit of the jacket is great. I do recommend sizing up if you plan to wear a sweater underneath.

What a great transitional coat into our colder weather spring weather here in Chicago! Absolutely perfect for the damp colder days but a nice spring jacket for a cooler than normal springtime day!
