Finally Found Hiking Pants That Are Fit & Comfy
I've tried a lot of different high-end brands of lightweight camping/hiking pants. Because I'm an extra small but not exactly extra small in the butt and supper thighs, I keep getting pants that are too long or baggy in one place and too tight in another; or are too thick as to fabric. (FYI I am 5 feet tall.) I HAD to have pants with two ZIPPERED POCKETS, because frankly, my main interest is having a comfy pair of pants for airplane travel PLUS hiking, where I could stash my phone and ID and other small valuables in the pockets without worrying about them falling out while slouching on a plane for a few hours. These fit so well in Petite Extra Small and are so light and comfortable that I have ended up wearing them a a daily pull-on. Just comfy! And they look pretty good on me for camp pants. Okay, on gals with longer legs, they won't come down to the ankles, but on my short legs, they do. Only TINY negative is they ride up a bit when you sit so your socks or bare lower calves will show. As I do most hikes in fair and warmer weather, this is fine for me, but you should know that. I hope these last a long, long time because I FINALLY found pants that are lightweight, packable, have two zippered pockets, and are simple pull-ons. I have not even needed to adjust the waist / I just leave the ties as they are. I haven't washed them yet, so time will tell, but so far, these pants are a winner. I didn't really want to spend so much on pants, as I'm a Goodwill shopper, but, providing these last, I'm sold.

Style excellent, material not so much
I really loved these pants at first. They are very comfortable and light weight. I like that they have pockets and have a nice casual clean look. What I did not like about them was that they developed little snags after about four days of wear, from my dog’s paws when she occasionally jumps on me. The snags are not from her nails but from her paws. She is on the small side and very light. I was disappointed that the material does not hold up. I imagine sitting on rock or anything rough will also cause this.
