A spring or fall go anywhere jacket
The mountain classic jacket is a true classic. The jacket looks great and it’s very functional. I really like the weather resistant zipper. It adds class to the jacket by not having all that Velcro and flap.

Great jacket
I received this about a month ago and have worn it a dozen times. (In Miami, during our very mild winter weather). The jacket is light weight, great rain protection, fits very well, and looks great! I couldn't be more pleased.

Not really tall
Love the style and fabric. I've tried a few sizes and the arms are just always really short even on the tall sizes. I'm 6'8" for reference. If your tall, unfortunately can't recommend.

Mountain Classic - Love this comfy jacket
I’ve got an L.L.Bean Mountain Classic multi-color jacket that I’m genuinely excited about, and it’s already earned its place in my pack for my thru hike on the Appalachian Trail in 2026. I love this jacket. It’s light, packs easily, and still gives me the kind of wind and light-rain protection I know I can count on when the weather turns on a ridge or in a gap.
The fit is comfortable without being bulky, which makes it perfect for layering—over a base layer on cool mornings or over a fleece when the temperature drops. The multi-color design not only looks sharp, it also makes it easy to spot in a crowded gear pile. Zippered pockets keep the essentials secure, and the fabric feels durable enough to handle repeated wear on long days without feeling stiff or heavy.
