too long and big
I have worn these pants for years. Every time LL Bean uses a new manufacturer (you can tell this from where the pants were made) the sizing changes. Two versions ago were fine, the last ones (made in Malaysia) were too long so these new ones (made in Vietnam) I took to the tailor to be shortened (about one inch or more) to match the last pair. Unfortunately I did not try them on first. They are not only too long, but the waist is too large, the legs are too wide, and the distance from the waist to the crotch is about two inches too long. They are baggy, uncomfortable and look and feel awful.

Nice pants, but much too large
I had high expectations, but am so disappointed. The material and color are great. The pants are just too huge and too long. Other petite responders have liked these pants, but not me.

Good choice for me
These pants are so comfy and soft. They were even soft before I washed them. I love the fact that they are all cotton. That makes them so breathable and cool in the hot, humid summers. At first I was disappointed they were not available in a 'tall' length but if I wear flat shoes, they are long enough for me and look very nice on. And, they are comfortable, too.

My everyday pants for spring, summer and fall.
I just love these pants, they are the perfect fit, the fabric has a nice drape and the pockets are long enough to hold a cell phone. They couldn't be better. Having said that, Bean seems to be phasing them out. They are only available in limited sizes in this color. I don't understand why they aren't available in more colors and sizes at the start of a new summer season. Please bring them back!

Odd mix
I returned the pants because I did not like the mixture of a dressier fabric and a very casual style. I was looking for something that would take me from daytime casual wear to a somewhat dressy evening and these pants failed on both accounts.

Great Pants! Need More Color Choices!
I bought these last years and the year before and love them for the summer. Very comfortable. lightweight and cool. I can't wear anything with "stretch" in the fabric, I'm allergic. Needless to say I have all the colors and 2 pairs of the blue. So get started on some new colors, How about a dusky green, sage green or other green? Light blue? Dark Tan? And like the other said, Please Don't Discontinue.

I have several pairs of Sunwashed Canvas Pants. I have not been able to find any other pants that fit as well or are as comfortable as these. Wider pants are now in fashion. Why pick this time to discontinue?

Are the Sunwashed Canvas Pants being discontinued?
I'll be very sorry if these pants are no longer offered.
Have worn them for about 15 years. They are a mainstay of my clothes closet because they're cotton, don't have a tight fit, have an elastic waist, have good pockets, and are durable. Wear them nearly every day for anything from dog walking, errands, and barn animals care. Please do not discontinue these pants.
