Nothing to Improve—Perfect As Is—Don’t Cut Corners
If you folks keep this mock neck shirt as is I will make it a 3-season staple for me in the future. Material feels wonderful against the skin. Fit is just right. Nice to have something cozy around the neck. I line dry to keep the neck material from stretching-out too soon. Please do not cut corners to save pennies down the road. I would rather pay a bit more to maintain quality like this shirt exhibits.

Disapointing Performance
I bought the Mac turtle a couple of months ago and have used it as mid layer shirt for winter hiking and skiing. It is not the garment I had expected, nor as good as I had hoped for in an LLBean product. Living in New Hampshire as an avid hiker and skier, I am very sensitive to products that work well on the trails in cool to frigid conditions. This moc turtle shirt is not holding up as well as previous moc turtle form LLBean, or even the moc turtles I have recently found online. The garment appears and feels like it is thin and flimsier than I want when I am Nordic Skiing or winter hiking. The collar gives way very quickly; it does not provide winter warmth and absorbs and retains sweat, which is dangerous in cold climate conditions. For use away from active sports and warmer climates, this shirt may be fine. I do not recommend it for use in active sports in a northern climate.
This is not the type of review I take pleasure in writing, as I have been an LLBean customer for over 20 years.
