Not what it used to be
I bought a bunch of these mock turtlenecks. They wore like iron and held up after about hundred washes just as I'd expect from LLBean. The collars finally loosened up enough to become night shirts. Great purchases. The new one I sent back because it arrives with a floppy collar out of the bag. Something changed with the necks and not for the better.

Quality excellence
Fabric is still quality. Color 5 yrs later is like it was just purchased. Have lambs wool sweater 20 yrs old and like I purchased it yesterday. Hiking boots ten yrs old and still going strong.
