This exclusive flannel tunic is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Flannel a bit flimsy
The flannel used for this shirt is a bit flimsy. I was expecting the fabric to be more substantial. Darn! It also seems run a bit small through the hips.

Beautiful shirt, runs large
Light weight super soft flannel. RUNS LARGE. I have a short, stocky, pear shaped figure and have been getting other flannel shirts from elsewhere in a 2 xl. Ordered a 2X and it is very loose everywhere. Im still giving it 5 stars because it is well made and super soft.

Doesn’t fit like other Scotch plaid flannels.
I ordered the same size as all of my other Scotch plaid flannels shirts (Petite XL because I like to layer them over another shirt in winter). This top ran very tight in the arms, with no layer beneath it, and VERY narrow - at least one size - through the body. I ordered the red/black large check. I’ll probably never wear it, which is regrettable considering the cost, plus cost of shipping, and because it was supposed to be for family matching shirts Christmas photos.
