L.L. Bean Trailblazer 400 lumen lantern
Just love this lantern. Use during power outages. On Halloween we neighbors get together putting a table up by sidewalk with bowls of candy & small crafts & use this lantern with the diffuser bag to light the table up when it gets dark. The diffuser bag keeps the lighting toned down so it doesn’t hurt one’s eyes. It’s perfect! Highly recommend this item.

Its the best lantern for the money
We have 3 around the house. Yes they are super bright and thank goodness for the defuser bag. In SC we have electrical co-ops and for 3 hrs a day we're asked to limit power drains if possible. In the morning they light up the house without issue. The 1st one, we didnt change the batteries for 3 years.

Outstanding
Just bought 3 lanterns about 2 weeks ago and, as luck would have it, we had a 3.5 hour blackout on Cmas eve. SO glad I had them! They put out a tremendous amount of light.

LL Bean Trailblazer 400 Lantern
This lantern provides plenty of light when the power goes out. There are 3 settings for adjusting the light. Uses 3 D batteries so you
do not need to be concerned about recharging
which you can’t do when there is no electricity.
This lantern is also good for car camping but
I think it is too heavy for backpacking.
