GREAT Stonington Moc-Toe Shoes in Dark Cocoa
I purchased my Stonington Moc-Toe shoes in Dark Cocoa from LL Bean online 6 1/2 years ago (way back in February 2020) and these have been an outstanding pair of shoes!
The fit was spot-on at a size 9 1/2 in Medium width. These have been incredibly comfortable with very, very little break-in required. I wouldn’t go so far as to describe the fit / comfort as “sneaker-like”. The support is good but I do feel the weight of these shoes. Then again, I mostly live in athletic trainers and running shoes. From my experience, these absolutely pair well with business casual trousers and jeans. I haven’t worn these in a down pour so haven’t any feedback to provide on how weather resistant these might be. The leather scuffs very easily but that lends this shoe its character.
I’ve been looking for the matching Stonington Moc-Toe boots in Dark Cocoa for the past 3 years but they were seemingly always sold out. Earlier this week, I was FINALLY able to order a pair in Dark Cocoa from LL Bean online and have complete faith they’ll be as comfortable, durable and rugged-looking as my 6 1/2 year old Dark Cocoa Stonington Moc-Toe shoes.
