The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. UGH!
Really wanted to like this sweater, but the stitching that runs at chest height, also continues onto sleeves. The material bunches and doesn't lay flat. Please stop with the dropped shoulder look!

On line looks adorable
Received sweater today. I splurged on this pricey sweater as it looked like Golden Retrievers and I am very disappointed. The online pictures show fluffy ears, black nose, and black eyes...the sweater came and has red ears and red eyes and no nose. The red eyes are terrible. I am returning the sweater.

Color mismatch
Beautiful sweater, nice heavy weight; however, the f the dog's ears are red instead of tan. Not sure if this is just a feature of the petite size, but it does impact the visual appeal of the sweater and does not match the image provided on the website.

Washed Orchid Fair Isle bulks out @ upper arms
As soon as I saw this cardigan, I put it in my cart. I knew it would look good with the burgundy/wine/bordeaux capsule colors that are in my winter wardrobe. I knew it would blend with the cotton cashmere sweater colors I got from Bean last year. I love everything about this cardigan except it makes me look like a muscle builder. The cotton yarns are very thick. The fair isle design hits me in the center of my upper arms instead of higher on my chest & shoulders ~ which is where all of my many fair isle design cardigans hit me. The fair isle design is so thick with yarns, it feels like padding and it looks “thick”. I’m uploading photos to show this cardigan with last year’s colors, the thickness of the fair isle section inside-out and how small the neck opening is IF anyone is thinking about wearing it buttoned up. Very sadly, I’m returning it. PXL fits as expected except at the neck. I’m 5’4” tall, 40D with 16.5” wide shoulders across. This cardigan has plenty of room for shirts, turtlenecks or even lightweight pullover sweaters underneath.

Love it!
I’m 5 feet 2 1/2 inches and I weigh 125 lbs.i ordered the medium regular, It fits perfectly. There is enough room for layering. I purchased the dog pattern, it’s very cute. This is a great quality sweater and I love that it is cotton. It has a nice weight to it for cotton.
