LOVE THESE
The size was great and these are so much nicer in reality! I wasn't expecting them to be as warm as the 'wicked good warm' - since these were named like the boots --- HOWEVER, they are wicked good warm for sure! Nice and thick and soft durable padding inside. I love them!

Too tight on ankle, and tag is uncomfortable
A size 7 should fit me with some room, but it feels a little tight in the foot, but way too tight at the ankle. The tag is positioned there there and rubs on the top of the foot at the ankle.

Tight Fit
This is a well-made slipper; it just doesn't currently work for me. I have a bad hip so I can't just reach down and pull it up; I had to use a shoehorn and it was still difficult. The very tight fit will probably make the slippers last longer, but I won't buy them again.

Need to be cut at instep overlaps to get them on
It was so hard to get my rather small feet into these that I did some surgery, clipping the stitching that held together the overlaps at the ankle. They separated nicely, and then I could get my feet into them with no problem.
Apart from that, they are warm and comfortable. The totally flat soles would have been better with some shaping and an arch, but were okay for the house.
Does anybody at LL Bean actually try these things on? They look like an AI special.
The solution is simple: do not stitch the overlapping sections together at the instep.
