classic cut, runs small
I am 5'6" and weigh 100 pounds with shoes on, but the size 4 in these jeans was too tight. It may stretch out, but I doubt the jeans could stretch enough. I am exchanging for a larger size and am frankly on the fence between getting a size 6 and a size 8! I recommend the jeans, but don't expect to wear last year's LL Bean size, even if your weight has not changed. If the fit had been more standard, I would have given five stars.

Horrible smell
I am happy with the jeans' fit and color. However, the smell (formaldehyde?) made them unwearable. I washed twice with no effect. Then I soaked in cold water with a cup of white vinegar and followed by washing. A fourth wash was with detergent and warm water. The smell is now barely noticeable. I'll see if I notice it when I wear them. If so, they will be returned. I'm very disappointed in LLBean for selling an item with this smell problem.

Petite jeans that fit!
This is the best fitting petite jean I’ve purchased from LL Bean since its old “favorite fit” series. The denim maintains its shape and the pant length is perfect. I’ve purchased two pairs so far and plan to buy more, especially if this pant becomes available in more colors. Highly recommended.

Can't Wear These Jeans
Not their usual fit. These use to be my favorite jeans and I've been wearing them for years in size 8 petite. These new jeans are too tight in the waist and basically do not fit the same. All of my old jeans were made in Indonesia and still fit just fine. These new jeans were made in Mexico and the sizing is way off.

Longer than usual
Love that LLBean jeans are rugged and long lasting. This same size used to fit me perfectly without hemming, but this time around, there seems to be about 1" longer than usual.
