A regular cut is needed
A bit more than “slightly” fitted. A reasonably heavy sweater will not fit under the coat. A regular cut would be better for layering

Warm and snug
This is a nice, warm coat, and I like how you can cinch up the hood and the waist for a really snug fit when it's cold and windy. Also I like the exterior zip chest pocket -- very handy.

I absolutely loved this jacket. Wearing it did not make me look like a marshmallow - it is sleek, lightweight and everything it was advertised to be. I wore this at the Christmas markets on the Danube and never felt so comfortable! What a great garment!

One fatal flaw
I bought this jacket last year. Unfortunately, it has a fatal flaw. There is no drawcord around the face so in windy conditions, air blows around the hood resulting in uncomfortable cold. Please also note that it runs large. Definitely not an athletic fit. Wish it were better designed.

Worried This Won’t Last the Season
Nice jacket, but I’ve been having ongoing issues with the feathers. They keep coming out and sticking to my inner layers, which was annoying but manageable at first. However, a feather actually poked through and made a small hole in the outer fabric of the jacket, which is really disappointing. I’ve only had the jacket for about a month, and now I’m worried it won’t even last the season. This doesn’t seem like the quality I expected.

Not very warm
Would not recommend as the down count of 850 seems like it would be warm but it is not - anything under 45 degrees and I find it does not keep me warm. I had an 800 jacket from another company and it could be worn all winter. Definitely need to replace this coat.
