The Perfect Down Hooded Jacket
This is my second LLBean 850 down hooded jacket. The first one is still going strong - just wanted another color. Originally, I purchased the first jacket for backpacking, and car camping, and it has outperformed my expectations. My new jacket, in black, is even better, due to the treated down to make it more water resistant. What do I love about this product? It is windproof, incredibly warm, very light and packable. What do I dislike? Nothing!

Warm and comfy.
Love this jacket! It is lightweight, but, oh so warm! Love the green color, too. Fits well and is nice and tapered at the waist. Especially happy with it as these December temps have been BRRRR!

Ultralight Down Jacket
I actually like my black down jacket quite a lot. I wear it frequently and have enough room to have a sweater on under it. I purchased an XL. I weigh approx 180# and am 5'7".

Women's Ultralight 850 Down Hooded Jacket
I purchased one of these jackets years ago (from LL Bean), but it was getting slightly tight on me, so I purchased a larger size in a different color. I have received so many compliments on the color of the coat (eggplant). It's so lightweight and warm. I absolutely love this jacket.

Have loved this jacket for 12 Maine winters!
This has been the perfect winter jacket for me for 12 winters, and I'm here considering purchasing another one. I've torn some holes in my old friend over the last few years while fighting with brambles, and though the Gear Tape repairs have held up, it's starting to look a bit rough.
I appreciate the generous hood and the elasticized cuffs, and even without using the integrated pocket for packing it down, it takes up virtually no space and always feels warm and weightless. I truly love this jacket and except for the patched areas, it looks as good as it did in 2013!
I have a heavier coat, but find that I usually still choose this one with some additional layers underneath.
