Disappointing When Compared to Previous Version
I have this jacket from several seasons back and I love it. Wanted a new one, so ordered a petite small. I am 5’0” and 113#. This season’s jacket has raglan sleeves vs. sewed in at the shoulder, and are far too long for a petite frame. Fabric is thin and looks like it could tear or rip easily. Returned it.

Excellent Jacket at a Good Price
Love the women's plus size ultralight 850 down jacket! I wear it on cold days to walk the dog, work around the yard and it always goes with me on cold winter vacations. I bought the darker purple/plum color and really like it. Jacket fits great, is super warm and I love the packable feature.

Perfect outerwear addition

Love this jacket!
I have been wanting to purchase an Ultralight down jacket for myself for a couple of years. I buy them for the grandkids, but I'm a little frugal with my own wardrobe! I saw that this Women's Ultralight 850 Down Jacket in Mineral Red that was on sale at a very tempting price. I wasn't sure about the color (its kind of a soft burnt orange) but it turns it its a great color for me. I have pale skin and white hair and in the winter I wear black LLBean's perfect fit pants everyday. The lining of the jacket is a pretty dark teal and the zipper matches it. It is true to size. I'm very pleased with my purchase and look forward to wearing it. It's just the right length for driving. I'm off to the yarn store to find Mineral Red and dark teal yarn to knit myself a hat!

Where's the forest gray?
I can't believe the forest gray is in the men's 850 and not women's! I want a new 850 for myself and my husband. The forest gray is too light for him but just right for me! The other women's colors are boring except blue but I have a similar blue. My husband has navy. What color can I get him? Ok. Olive is ok but it's the only color I like for myself. Darn! I'll wait another year.
