Material is so cheap!
This version of the older rain jacket is awful. It felt like wearing a black trash bag with a zipper and pockets! The features were ok but the quality of this LL Bean product is far, far inferior to the older version. NO mesh lining, no felt comfort collar, no adjustable elastic cuffs. Going back!

Sort of disappointed…….
Really needs a two way zipper and pit vents. Otherwise a great jacket. Is Bean going cheap on it’s designs?

I've had this jacket for a couple of years (I believe since 2024), but never really wore it in the rain until recently. While it was okay for a light drizzle, anything heavier than a drizzle has the water soaking through to my clothes and skin underneath. I'm disappointed with this product, since my other LLBean items typically last me several years.
