This incredibly comfortable layer combines two favorites - flannel and fleece. We started with our premium Portuguese flannel, known for its warmth, softness and long-lasting color. Then we added a layer of textured Sherpa fleece to make it toasty warm and unbeatably cozy.

He absolutely loved it. He is usually XLT which you didn't have. So I got the 2XL and it will work perfectly. Allows room for a layer under the jacket. Good quality as well.

Perfect outer layer for a wide range of temps.
Excellent garment. Made with quality. Wear it with a hoodie underneath and a beanie and you’re good down to about 35°F. Put it over a tee and wear shorts and flip flops, and it’s perfect to take the chill out of those early morning summer dog walks — comfy to about 70°F. I love how these shirts look, but that’s just a bonus. The great value is the versatility.

Good shirt. Pleased overall.
This is a good shirt (more like a jacket). It's very warm and should serve me well during a New England winter. The fit is not on the larger side like I have become accustomed to with LL Bean. In fairness, though, they do indicate that it's slightly fitted. I am 5' 9", 200 lbs, 42" chest, 34" waist and a 34" sleeve length. For me, the fit of this shirt is perfect (for a shirt). The sleeve length is perfect for me. Anyone with longer arms, though, might want to consider a tall size. My only real gripe is that I paid $130 for this shirt and the tag on the shirt I received indicated that it was $119. That was a bit painful if I'm honest.

Wish I hadn't taken the tags off it...
The sleeves are unlined. It gives the sleeves a cold feeling, the rest of it is cozy. It is quite bulky looking on the body. I would have returned it if I hadn't taken off the tags.

I’m Back
I used to buy cheap flannels, then I got a LLBean flannel for Christmas one year. I bought a new one every year. Switching the sizing as I was gaining weight. Then I switched to Carharrt, then Duluth Trading and after 10 years of other brands, I came back LLBean. They are much warmer and now they have pockets and snaps instead of Buttons. I now wear a 10 year old black watch in the garage and a 1 month old black watch for going out… lol
I will probably buy another one in a couple years.

Like Wearing a Comfy Blanket
I love this Shirt. Actually, it's more like a coat than a shirt. Extremely comfortable - don't like to take it off. My only criticism is the collar is floppy and needs a backing. Then it would perfect!
