Love it except for one problem.
I have worn this coat three times already. Sizing is good (all my other coats and outdoor jackets are all X-Large, Regular). As is this one. Very comfortable and as warm as is advertised.
But, the brass snaps are poor. They are very difficult to align properly for closure. And they have to be perfectly aligned. And, then, they are difficult to snap together. I much prefer the larger brass snaps that are present on my other outerwear. Not these. Too much fiddling with them to get them too snap together. Otherwise a great coat.

Great coat, but could be even better!
It's a great warm coat and I love the vintage style. Just a few small improvemnats could go a long way to me this coat perfect:
1) Deeper pockets. The pockets are shallow and wallet and phone are falling out, not top mention it's not very comfortable for the hands.
2) Add a chest pocket.
3) A fur trim on the hood would complete the look.

This parka exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly warm, surprisingly lightweight, and very comfortable to wear for long periods. The length is perfect—long enough to provide excellent coverage and protection from the cold without feeling bulky or restrictive. LL Bean did an outstanding job with this design. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a dependable winter coat.

I like the extra side pockets and everything
I had the exact same coat 5 years ago I finally wore out never was able to find anything that was comfortable warm and fit right so I save money and did it right went to LL Bean I'm glad I did exact ly what I expected perfect fit and warmth
