When our designers saw a photo of a USA team member wearing an L.L.Bean fleece on the historic 1990 Mount Everest International Peace Climb, they had to recreate it. They combined the distinctive collar, classic pocket and contrast trim with plush, hi-pile fleece to create our softest jacket ever, with just-right breathability, warmth - and adventurous spirit.

Bought this back in early 2021, I wear it every winter and cold day. Wanted to get another color and saw the dark blue is the only color left. Hope it comes back next winter

My husband LOVES this jacket. He is perpetually cold and this jacket does the trick!
I had to bribe him to let me have it to wash; and it does wash up beautifully. I suggest washing it by itself if you get this color.

Way too small.
Much too small and sheds too much. The trim is the worst issue. The trim doesn’t allow the material to stretch as it should. I gave it to a friend who was a a medium size and he liked it. I originally ordered a XL. It’s also not easily layered as the fleece would resist the movement of the layers with the friction produced trying to pull it on.

Looks good, but make sure you watch sizing.
It's a nice design, but it's tighter than I expected. I didn't see it in person and I didn't notice it was slightly fitted when I ordered it. The high pile looked different from photo and I thought it may shed once washed.
