Not for the serious hiker!
I used my trekking poles today on a 9.3 mile hike. Before even reaching 2 miles, on "basket" came off, and the other a half mile later. The construction is very poor. Better off buying a different brand. Anybody want them?

Collapsed a lot.
I bought these last year for special hiking trips and not daily training and love them. On my trip last week however the bottom section collapsed completely while I was hiking about a dozen times. I extend that section of the pole just past the EXTEND TO HERE line. The top section is set to 110. Do I need to extend these differently or do I just have a defective pair?
