Six-year-old girl
This is beautiful and extra large for my daughter so she has room to grow into it. She's sick but very tall so I bought a large. She weighs 71 pounds and she's 4 foot two.

I’ve purchased my children this fleece (in different sizes and colors) for Christmas for the past three years. They are warm and hold their shape after many washes! My only wish is that LL Bean would continue offering this fleece with the bear ears through the age of 12–seriously, they are so cute.

Handsome jacket!
Very happy with the jacket - handsome details, and very cozy. My grandson liked it.
He is 12, but a SMALL 12 (78 lbs.), and the size M (10-12) was doable but skimpy .
Re-ordered in Large.

Consistent favorite
Has been a consistent favorite for my kids the last several years. Keep getting them the next size up as they outgrow them. Got them similar fleeces one year, nowhere near as nice, and could never get grass or twigs fully out of the material, really regretted not getting them a bean fleece that year. Just wish there were more masculine color options for those who prefer outdoorsy/woodsy colors options.
