We've reintroduced our waterproof briar pants with innovative TEK 3.0 fabric that sandwiches a breathable, waterproof membrane between a comfortable interior backer and rugged nylon outer fabric, allowing moisture to escape while blocking wind, rain and snow. We've overlaid this fabric with 330-denier nylon to handle the gnarliest, briar-tangled terrain, protecting you and your waterproof layer from punctures and scratches.

Good pants with flaws.
Good pants but I don’t think the length of the inseam runs true.I Wear a 29 inch inseam but the length seams to be at least 30 inch or greater. The pants need another rear pocket. Lastly the pants need suspender buttons. When you load your pockets up with pocket knife, keys, shotgun shells etc you need suspenders. I’m going to have a seamstress install buttons. All hunting pants I have owned have suspender buttons. I do like the fabric and light weight. I will also may have the length shortened. I am 5 ft 9 195 lbs. Without suspenders they are too long for me.

Best upland pant I’ve found
I own two pairs of these and rotate during upland hunting season. In the NW we get warm early hunts, then very wet fall hunts, then freezing weather in December and January.
These are the best compromise between waterproof, durability and lightweight. They do get a little hot, but run a little baggy to help with ventilation. But no material will resist thorns, be waterproof and completely breathable. Light weight, Pockets zip, waist is stretchy to allow for layering, turns blackberry brambles with ease and completely waterproof. What’s not to like! The only thing that could make them better would be hip or thigh zips to dump heat early season.

Great all around hunting pants
Great pants, really like them. I didn't realize when I purchased them but was happy to find that the pockets have zippers; don't have to worry about losing items when going through the puckerbrush.

Not breathable!
I finally had an occasion to wear these pants when hiking through wet grass and bush from an all night rain. When putting them on the inner waterproof lining was obvious - almost like plastic. When I returned from my hike my legs were soaked with sweat - on a 60 degree day. I never would have purchased if I had read a review like this one. I love LL Bean clothing - but these expensive pants are awful!
