Love these shorts!
I love these shorts. I have them in navy and granite. LLBean - PLEASE offer these shorts in a lighter khaki or stone color. The toasted almond is a bit too dark to feel cool in summer. I love original length (I tried the Bermuda length, but it was too long for me), and I can't help wishing LLBean would offer a 3rd style in a 4-inch inseam, which would be even better for walking and hiking. These are my go-to shorts for summer and for travel - so light and comfortable. They pack small and look great all day long. Love the zip pockets! I am 5' 4", 128 lbs and the XS fits me perfectly (which is kind of crazy as I am usually a size 6 or 8)

Fast dry and comfortable
I purchased these shorts for their ability to dry quickly as I am working on building an easy pack, easy wash wardrobe for travel. They are also lightweight. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

Terrible pilling
I have two pairs of these shorts and I love them. The only problem is one of them has peeled significantly almost to the point where I can’t wear them anymore yet the other pair has not done it at all, and I wash them the exact same way in line dry them both.

True to size for fit. Comfortable with capital T. Launders perfectly, packs perfectly, no wrinkles. Two good side pockets (wish one had a zipper). No complaints. Have several pairs and they last well.

I love these shorts
I love these shorts, but that said, the leg openings could be a bit narrower (reason for the 4 stars). I have heavy thighs and they are still a tad wide for me, but I still love them. I have two pair. For those of you that love narrower legs the bermuda shorts in the vista camp selection are awesome as well and the legs are narrower. I have five pairs of those and absolutely love them. I've had those for 3 years and haven't pilled, so I'm not sure what a lot of people are complaining about. For the record, I have 8 pairs of the pants as well. I can't get enough of these. Super comfortable. I am 5'4" and about 55-60 lbs and pear shaped. Don't iron without a cloth over it. They will get scorch marks if the iron is too hot. I give the pants and bermuda shorts a rating of 5.

Versatile shorts
