Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wirecutter “best flannel sheets” are a big miss I purchased these sheets based on the Wirecutter review. They are soft and warm, but that’s about it. Although I prefer to wash my sheets in hot water, I followed the care instructions and have only washed in warm and tumbled dry low. The sheets have continued to shrink with every wash. After a few washes it’s nearly impossible to get them on the bed. Every straight edge comes out of the dryer a rumpled mess even after shaking vigorously before drying (see photo). I’ve owned many sets of flannel sheets and have never had these issues. This is not the quality I expect from LL Bean and certainly not worth the price. What a waste.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful sheets quality control lacking I love these sheets, but quality control on this item was not great. I removed these from the package and put directly in to my laundry. They were the only item in the load and when I put them on the bed, there was a stain on them. I’m keeping them, as I don’t want to go through the hassle of repackaging, returning and reordering item. An expensive item to buy, when there is a stain on it, from the start.
