Light
Wore this today for over an hour walking on the beach in the middle of a late September Nor'easter hitting our small NY barrier island. While my legs were soaked below the knees, everything this jacket covered was dry and warm. I love how light and airy this coat is, the length, the knitted cuffs inside, the many pockets and adjustable hood. It wasn't really cold out today but this is slightly larger on my small frame so when it does get colder there will be plenty of room underneath for layers. Although I stayed dry, I do still wish Bean had overall used better, chunkier zippers and an up and down main zipper for sitting in a car or train.. But so far I'm very pleased with its performance. I also plan to pack it for a November trip to Europe.

Nice Jacket
The construction is very nice and the water repellency was excellent. However, the jacket wasn't as warm as I had hoped. Temps in the low 50's were chilly wearing it.
