- Five-bar stitch on forefoot is inspired by the original L.L.Bean Boot.
- Our TEK2.5® waterproof membrane in upper and seam-sealed construction keep feet dry.
- Waterproof full-grain leather foot and trim.
- Cushioned EVA midsole and molded nylon shank for stability.
- Molded-rubber outsole with grooved tread pattern for traction.
- Cushioned, removable EVA insole is covered in warm polyester fleece.
- Synthetic textile shafts.
- Lace-up style with gusseted tongue. Laces not waterproof.
- 200 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation provides exceptional warmth.

Best Winter Boots EVER
I was nervous to purchase these boots initially. I feared they would not be warm enough, would not stay dry, etc. and paying a higher price I really wanted to be sure it would be worth it. I had ordered clothing from LL Bean in the past and had a positive experience, so I took the risk...and I am SO glad I did. This is my fourth winter wearing them. They are incredibly warm, comfortable, and dry. The fur lining is so wonderful and keeps snow out even when walking through the really deep stuff. I have worn them while out ice fishing numerous times and have never experienced cold toes or leaks. The only sign of their age so far is some cosmetic wear on the toes. I love these boots and will absolutely purchase another pair if and when mine do wear out.
Before purchasing, I had looked extensively for reviews on these boots from someone who had really put them to the test in cold and snow, but I could not find any. So here is your green light if you're on the fence about buying these - you won't be sorry!

Good boots but time-consuming
This boot is comfortable and highly water-resistant. I find that very often I don't use them, however, because they're such a pain in the neck to put on and get off. Time consuming struggles with laces, and the fit is tight. That's good for keeping out water and snow, but not so user friendly. I assume the fact that your photo makes it very hard to see the laces - i.e., one assumes lacing them up is not necessary - is not an accident.

Just what I was looking for!
These boots are just what I was looking for! They are tall enough for maximum protection in deep snow. They keep my feet dry and toasty warm and fit comfortably. They are lightweight so they are comfortable to walk in.
