I bought two of these, the burgundy and oatmeal. The quality is so good, they’re the perfect weight, and fit PERFECTLY out of the bag, but unfortunately the oatmeal one shrank a good 2 inches in length and another inch or so in the sleeves, rendering it unwearable

Heather: yuck.
Bought received and inspected an example of the "heather" look L.L. Bean is all in on these days. I got the Men's Unshrinkable Mini-Waffle Henley, Long-Sleeve Traditional Fit, Regular, Shale Gray Heather. Verdict > thumbs down: "heather" = "shoddy-looking" to me. Returning. Ugh.

Not what they used to be.
I’ve been buying and wearing these Henley shirts since 2015 and let me tell you..the quality was noticeably and significantly better back then. I just recently purchased a new one to replace an old color and it feels way lighter than the vintage ones that I owned previously and just doesn’t feel as heavy or quality. I can’t explain it but I just know that it’s different and made with lesser quality. It’s truly a shame and I feel sad that L.L. Bean’s quality is dipping and the prices are going up! Makes no sense to me, I hope they can find a way back to their roots and stop cutting corners because this shirt isn’t the same and it seems that a lot of products are falling victim to that same issue.
