- For this style, we recommend you order a full size down from your regular shoe size. For example, if you normally wear a size 9, order a size 8.

Great fit. I’m an 11. These are also an 11 and still room with regular socks. Get a lot of compliments on them. Black Olive with orange soles.

Come as advertised
They are probably worthy of 5 stars, but mine feel a tad too big so my feet slip around in them when wearing regular socks. I have not tried them with thick socks because I don't have any right now.
After wearing them a half dozen times in snow, on ice and on pavement, they seem to come as advertised. My walks included through puddles of water and they have kept my feet dry.
Long term wear-and-tear I will have to wait and see.

Very satisfied with my 1st pair of Bean boots
This is the first pair of LL Bean boots that I have purchased. I wore them out of the box during a 2 week visit to Montana. They are comfortable, practical, and functional in dry and snowy conditions. I chose the men's size 7 as directed by the write up regarding the sizing of this boot. I wear a lady's 10. The 7 fit perfectly with both a light hiking as well as a thicker hiking sock. I ordered the boot with the orange sole, black rubber shoe, and dark green leather lace up portion. Nice color combination. I was really drawn to the fact that these boots are made in Maine. I do landscape maintenance in the spring, summer, and fall and will be utilizing this boot for that work.

I just love these boots! People say: I hate the cold! I say: it’s because you don’t know how to dress for the cold! These boots are really nice! I am a woman, I wear these boot with leggings and leg warmers. Really cute! Men say to me: GOT TO GET ME A PAIR!

poor quality
I have had 2 pair of these boots in the last 4 years and both have fallen apart withing 13-24 months of normal use, the souls also wear out super fast and become very slippery, sad times for L.L.Bean quality is Poor, no more for me,fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Bean Boot
Love the book. Quality materials. Strong stitching; although, the leather inside should be folded downward at the ankle to create a smoother and more comfortable fit.
