Am I an oddity?
I am soooo…. disappointed!!! I recently ordered two of these T-shirts and the colours are fabulous! However, I would need to be built like a duck in order to wear them. These new shirts are more than 3 inches longer than the ones I bought last year. I am 5’5” tall and weigh 170lbs. so not overweight ( or in anyway difficult to dress) but the bottom hem on these shirts comes well down my thigh. This looks ridiculous - it resembles a nightshirt not a T-shirt. Why are you making these extreme changes…. who can possibly want to buy them? As I said, I’m very average in build so cannot imagine who would wear such a ridiculous garment. I have been buying from LLBean since the mid-1980’s (catalogue) and rarely returned anything but I guess I’m just going to have to ‘grit my teeth’ and send these back hoping they’re able to find a new home with someone who has an exceptionally long torso.
