Rated 4 out of 5 by from helpful walking sticks rambler compact powerlock-as an elderly lady in her late 80's with poor balance I use the walking sticks to get exercise and be outdoors. They keep me somewhat active.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent cane for us petite adventurous types LL Bean's walking sticks are fantastic. The one handles is preferred personally as it seems to be more studying. As I am ultra-petite (4'6") it's tough to find acane to fit. This does! The shock absorption is great. My only complaint is the ice pick tip wearing through the rubber boot that ends up getting slippery. Other than, it's perfect. Oh, I would suggest, in a previous iteration of this walking stick included a flashlight. That would be a welcome addition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great walking stick! We have used these walking sticks for years in hiking trails and up mountains. Now that we are older, we use them walking on rail trails and our local road. My husband also currently uses his new stick indoors after a fall. It is light weight, sturdy and telescopes to a shorter length for travel. The cork handle is comfortable, and it absorbs the sweat. This excellent walking stick is definitely worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy to have on my trip I bought this for a trip to Scotland and was happy to have it. It's compact when collapsed and easily fits into a carry on size suitcase. It worked very well for me on some of the tougher terrain and hills when I needed a boost to my walking. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the levers for adjusting the length are pretty stiff and sometimes hard to move.
