I would recommend these sheets, bought them in Queen and have had these before for several years. Chris. Clarendon Hills IL

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as expected I ordered these based on the Wirecutter review. I've been sleeping on 100% cotton sheets my entire life and these have an odd feel to them, almost slick, even after several washings. They also sleep hot (very noticeable compared to the set we used right before them) and are very large/deep so don't fit smoothly on the bed. They almost don't seem like they're really 100 percent cotton, as water beads up on them for a while before soaking in, unlike other percale sheets I have. Maybe it's just a very tight weave but between the slick feel and the lack of breathability I will be returning these. Some positive notes: If you have a very deep mattress they would probably fit well. It's helpful when making up the bed that the short end on the contour sheet is clearly marked, and the hemstitch detail. is attractive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sized just right. Just made my bed with these sheets and what's usually an arduous task was a breeze! The bottom sheet has deep pockets and is sized to actually fit the mattress. No need to tug and stretch from corner to corner to make it fit; it just slipped right on. Mattresses are so these days, but these sheets make changing the bed easy. Looking forward to sleeping in them tonight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Somewhat disappointed The vapor gray color is perfect coordination with my new bedspread and shams purchased elsewhere. These sheets are a bit scratchy and certainly not as soft as previous 280TC purchased from LL Bean 2 years ago, hence the 4 star rating. They wash and dry nicely.
