Nice belt: I'm okay with it over all
Nice belt, but a couple things of note: it is advertised as being 1-3/8" wide, but the one I received measures 1-1/4". Since I bought the belt to accommodate the LLB jeans I just received the other day, the skimpier width is not so desirable, but I'm prepared to live with it. And TBH, for the LLB jeans as well as most other men's jeans, IMHO a 1-1/2" leather belt is an even better overall width when you consider the width of belt loops, so even if this had been 1-3/8" as advertised it still would've been a bit of a compromise. Secondly, yes, as other reviewers have commented, the belt does exude a strong, rather funky odor - of exactly what I cannot say. It's not exactly off-putting, but it's there. However, at least with my belt, I pretty much have to stick my nose right up against the leather to really pick it up. So, I'm not going to worry about it too much... hopefully I won't attract stray dogs sniffing at me as I walk down the street with this belt on.

Second Purchase Of This Belt
This is the second purchase of this belt. The first one lasted years. It makes a great jean belt. This new one seems to be of the same quality and fit as the previous belt.
